The Recipe
You'll provide an effective and efficient support to the Accounts Payable team and the wider Finance team and ensure financial information is processed on a timely basis.
The Role
The role of "Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Assistant" will have you at the heart of our finance team.
The successful applicant will be working as part of a 7 strong Accounts Payable Team, and will be responsible for processing invoices and credits,in order that payment is made to vendors on time, ensuring that the company continue to receive goods and services.
- Experienced in a busy account's payable environment, ideally operating at an assistant level. Knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
Systems:
- Good knowledge of SAP AP system, WEB3 Portal System is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills: influential; articulate, persuasive.
- Excellent relationship builder
- Able to build relationships and influence across a broad range of nonfinance and finance stakeholders
Planning and organising:
Used to working to strict deadlines
- Problem solving skills: Ability to recognise a problem, dissect the situation to understand the cause and offer alternative solutions.
