As a Barclays Technical Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver security services and develop product intimacy for business and technology clients and will also be identify opportunities to advance security services to meet business needs and CSO strategy.

As part of the team, you will be delivering product and project support & review capability throughout the system development lifecycle, to highlight and articulate information security risk to stakeholders.

What will you

be doing?:


  • Acting as an information security authority for business and technology clients
  • Influencing the information security roadmaps and solutions for products, channels, programmes and projects
  • Deliverying of an assignment including initiating contact with the Client, analysis of client objectives, identification of information security responses and requirements
  • Ensuring the endtoend information security integrity and quality of solutions and product releases
  • Facilitating information and cyber security assessments/workshops for solutions during various development phases to ensure security weaknesses are identified
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure residual risks are adequately mitigated to the degree that meets the risk appetite of the business
  • Acting as line manager for Security Solutions subteam and provide oversight, direction and support
  • Influencing policies and strategies to protect information and prevent cyber security attacks and supporting for the wider delivery and success of Security Solutions' services

What we're looking for:


  • Demonstrable understanding of security solutions and designs from a people, process and technology perspective; including security technologies, controls
  • Excellent relationship, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Security qualification

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Good awareness and understanding of the Barclay's business unit responsibilities and structure
  • Knowledge of existing best practices for integration of security controls
  • Experience within a consultancy practice and leading and managing direct reports

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
