    My name is Lina and I am the Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician Team Manager for Clinical Trials team in Oxford.

    As a Senior Technician I am privileged to manage and support our fantastic technical team of Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and Apprentices as we provide support services to clinical trial research teams on all our Trust sites throughout Oxfordshire.

    The Clinical Trials Pharmacy consists of Pharmacists, Technicians and Assistants. We work closely with research teams across the trust and external representatives.

    Main duties of the job

    A successful candidate should possess:

    - NVQ Level in Pharmacy Service Skills OR BTEC Level Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support

    - up to date registration with the GPHC

    - Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) Qualification

    Regrettably, applicants without these essential qualifications will not be considered.

    As a Senior Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician in our team, you will have an extremely varied role – you will be involved in maintaining the supply chain of Clinical Trial medications to patients, maintaining financial records, preparing IV doses in our aseptic unit, as well as maintaining your own portfolio of trials as the allocated technician, managing junior members of the team and so much more. Although desirable, no previous experience in these areas is needed as full training will be provided.
