The Role:

We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our supportive and dynamic Quality Team, on aPermanent Contract.


Duties and responsibilities:

?Lead on the organisational quality assurance processes, including trend analysis, reporting on issues, identifying improvements and monitoring QA check completions

  • Coordinate with stakeholders regarding external audits to ensure they are carried out successfully and to follow up on any findings or actions raised during the audits
  • Lead on quality assurance meetings, including the Quarterly Quality Reviews
  • Line manage the Quality Team, providing support and guidance to colleagues and developing skills and knowledge
  • Effectively coordinating and planning compliance exercises, including Business Impact Assessments and Business Continuity Tests
  • Proactively lead on the internal audit programme, ensuring audits are relevant and add value, that risks are addressed in the audit plan and that all audits are completed as expected and to a high standard.
  • Carry out highlevel audits to ensure compliance against Charity Commission expectations and other standards, legislation and regulations, these include, but are not limited to, Information Security Audits, Subsidiary Risk Audits and Financial Risk Audits
  • Monitor legal compliance across the organisation
  • Raise awareness of compliance expectations, support colleagues at all levels with their compliance requirements and questions, work closely with colleagues to develop effective processes in line with relevant standards, legislation, regulations and bestpractice
  • Manage the relationship with relevant suppliers and third parties, including external auditors, certification bodies, subcontractors and QA management platforms
  • Effectively manage feedback received by operational teams, ensuring feedback is reviewed and acted on where required
  • Ensure continues compliance with our various standards, including ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO27001 and AQS

Experience and skills:


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to give feedback in a factual and supportive manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure, a cando approach, exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of auditing practices, including riskbased approach and agile auditing
  • Dedicated to providing the best quality services and achieving the highest standard of client care
