Description
A Finance Manager is needed for a 3-4 month contract at a luxury retail company.

The role is hybrid and based in Central London. 2 days a week based in the office, 3 at home.


Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the budgeting process for the UK Wholesale, UK Ecommerce, Licensing and UK Shared divisions, working with the key operational heads and challenging assumptions where required. Drive improvements within the forecast cycle and models to deliverefficiencies
  • Support the Head of FP&A with compiling budget submissions from the wider business including the US, Canada and Hong Kong divisions and preparation of the Group model with profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet projections
  • Prepare insightful month end commentary for both the divisions partnering with and the wider FC Group and deliver to senior management team. Work closely with the management account team and wider business to understand the results and the key risks andopportunities
  • Provide commercial finance support to the operational teams, including preparing business cases for new initiatives
  • Drive forward and help automate reporting with the IT and BI team. Drive efficiencies in current reporting processes as well as looking to build new insightful analysis to help drive the business forward
  • Attending weekly Ecommerce Business Trade meetings

Experience and Skills

  • Partqualified accountant
  • ACA or CIMA/ACCA equivalent
  • Highly analytical with experience in a FP&A or commercial finance role

Retail experience required:


  • Experience in streamlining and automating reporting and helping to develop BI tools
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and generate meaningful insights
  • Advanced in Excel and ability to build robust financial models
  • Strives to improve processes, challenge status quo and look for efficiencies where possible
  • Attention to detail whilst also being able to see the bigger picture
