- Supervising the workshop team to efficiently prepare and paint workshop jobs while upholding the required quality standard.
- Ensuring that all employees work safely and intervening if any unsafe practices are noticed.
- Planning and ensuring the availability of paint, materials, and components for jobs at the right time.
- Scheduling and organizing the workload in the bodyshop to boost productivity and meet customer deadlines.
- Managing job bookings, inspecting tasks at different stages, ordering the right parts, and performing Quality Control checks to maintain high standards.
- Accurately completing job documentation and ensuring all paperwork is properly filled out.
- Maintaining discipline, cleanliness, and site security standards, and promoting Health and Safety practices within the depot.
- Effectively maintaining all equipment in good condition and acting professionally at all times.
- Experience in the HGV / LCV accident repair sector.
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Qualifications.
- Knowledge of 2k paint mixing schemes is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and handle workload efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to maintaining high standards and ensuring Health and Safety.
- Professional attitude and role model behavior for the team.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm, with Saturday mornings occasionally required.
- Salary: £17 per hour - £41,990.00 annual.
- Benefits: 20 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays, pension enrollment after 3 months, Simply Health sign up, KPI scheme, and annual bonus.
- Personal tools needed, provided with overalls and PPE.
