    The Change Manager will be a key driver in facilitating the successful integration of changes associated with our ERP implementations and other transformative projects. This role demands an experienced Change Manager with an understanding of industry-specific processes and challenges, adept communication skills, and the capability to steer organisational change to enhance overall performance.

    Change Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop a comprehensive change management strategy tailored to the business needs, aligning with project goals and objectives.
    • Integrate change management activities seamlessly into overall project plans, ensuring a holistic approach to change.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Identify and analyse key stakeholders within the organisation, assessing their readiness for change and potential impact on project success.
    • Develop and execute targeted communication and engagement plans that resonate with the Harland & Wolff's culture.

    Communication and Messaging:

    • Craft clear and compelling communication messages related to changes, ensuring they align with industry-specific language and the Harland & Wolff values.
    • Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and the tangible benefits of change to all levels of the organisation, fostering a positive and informed environment.

    Training and Development:

    • Design and deliver training programmes that address the needs of employees adapting to new business processes and systems.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials that resonate with the users.

    Resistance Management:

    • Proactively identify and address potential resistance to change, tailoring strategies to overcome resistance at various levels within the organisation.
    • Foster a positive change culture by promoting the benefits and opportunities associated with the implemented changes.

    Metrics and Evaluation:

    • Establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives.
    • Conduct regular assessments and gather feedback from employees to evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.

    Collaboration with Project Teams:

    • Collaborate closely with project managers and teams to align change management activities with the specific goals and objectives of shipbuilding and fabrication projects.
    • Provide insights on potential areas of resistance and develop strategies to overcome challenges unique to the industry.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in change management processes, staying informed about industry best practices.
    • Incorporate relevant methodologies into change management approaches to ensure they remain current and effective within the shipbuilding and fabrication context.

    Ability to guide, mentor and develop a team. A strong awareness of employment legislation and best practice regarding, but not limited to: processes, wellbeing, and equal opportunities.

    Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

    Qualifications

    Degree qualified (ideally in Change Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field) or holds equivalent professional qualifications and experience.

    Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.

    Proven experience managing digital transformational change
