- Learn the ceramics theory and apply it in the manufacturing field.
- Learn to operate different production / testing equipment as part of the manufacturing/test process of the products.
- Document test, processes and present reports for products as required using SharePoint documentation system.
- Carry out qualification procedures for products / materials guided by the production engineering department.
- A part of the production engineering team, the post holder will guarantee efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability and enable products to be produced at the rate needed to meet customer demand.
- Establish productive, dynamic, working relationships with the Engineering and Manufacturing departments, maintaining regular associations through meetings and communications to discuss any issues.
- Be aware of Data that can lead to an opportunity for improvement – this can include non-conformance, yield/scrap data, improvements to documentation/drawings, training, efficiency of process equipment
- Ideally Degree/HND qualified.
- Experienced within an Manufacturing Environment in a similar job role.
- Skilled driving results and improvements.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems would be beneficial.
