Hourly Rate:
£9.45 per hour

Hours Per week: 36.5

Shift Times: 7:30-3:45/ 8-4:15/ 8:30-4:45/ 9:15-5:30/ 9:45- 6

Here at Willing Care, we are seeking aNursery Practitioner (Level 3) for one of our very established clients._

The Nursery are ideally looking for a full-time practitioner, who can join an established team whilst providing quality care. You will need to be caring, passionate and have the experience to improve current OFSTEAD ratings.

This purpose build nursery is based on beautiful grounds with all rooms having direct access to a delicately landscaped garden, with a separate zone for under 2s.

The role of a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) within the Nursery involves:

To support the Room Leader in ensuring that observational records of the children in your group are kept in accordance with agreed policy, used to inform their next steps for learning and are reflected in the Room Leader recorded planning for your group.
To support the establishment of secure attachment for your key children.
To be responsible for the care routines of the children in your group as directed by the Room Leader.
To actively support a twoway flow of information between the setting and the parents and other carers of the children in your group and the wider setting.
To work in collaboration with other professionals who might be supporting children in your group.
To support the smooth transitions between settings of the children in your group.
To undertake supervision duties in the setting in accordance with agreed rotas.
To assist as directed in the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor environment.

To be considered for this role:

A minimum of a level 3 childcare related qualification.
GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
Current paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake training.

Experience

Experience of working with children aged 04 years in a childcare setting.
Experience of recording observations, and supporting others in planning for children's learning in EYFS.
Experience of working in partnership with parents.
