- Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute
- Work alongside the three CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists, another Specialty Doctor, and Core Trainee within the service and share clinical supervision requirements with them.
- Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A& E departments and inpatient wards.
- Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.
- Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.

We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor position in the Barking and Dagenham CAMHS Community Team, based at 73 Axe Street, Barking, IG11 7LZ. This is a new post, that has been created to provide high quality care.
You will join three full-time CAMHS Consultants, another Specialty Doctor, and a Core Trainee doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
