About This Job:
This is a crucial position for working cross-functionally develop and deliver local market access strategies to ensure access and uptake of Company's brands at a local level both at reimbursement and throughout the product lifecycle

The role also partners with the local Brand Team to ensure Market Access requirements are embedded in the Affiliate Brand Plan, and are aligned with other local priorities and representing payer/market access interests


Key Activities for this role:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, service managers, HCPs, commissioners, ICSs, etc and bring insights to shape strategies and overcome access barriers and drive uptake
  • Design and implement jointworking / collaborative working strategic projects with customers and thirdparties to deliver on business objectives. Ensure projects are evaluated and scalable, were appropriate, and devise plans to share best practice acrosswider health economies
  • With the sales and marketing teams, identify areas where there are access and uptake barriers, and devise solutions to overcome
  • Understand key national and regional / local NHS datasets and how they can be deployed to support access and outcomes discussions with customers, and where the Company can help to improve service delivery and patient outcomes
  • Understand and leverage national and local policies and how Company's brands can support delivery on policy objectives

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in a Market Access role in the Pharma sector with strong patient/customer focus, in multidisciplinary, matrix and global context
  • Strong experience devising and implementing local market access strategies within the NHS and achieving exceptional results for products
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering compelling value propositions and access strategies
  • Prior experience of developing KPIs and dashboards, to support sustainable growth and performance

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of relevant Therapeutic Area (Oncology/Renal/Urology)

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Graduate or equivalent professional qualification in Life Sciences and/or proven expertise
