    PMO Analyst | £450/day (Inside IR35) | 6-month initial contract | London

    Salary: £400-500/day Inside IR35

    The role

    Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading Trading Firm who are looking to bring a PMO Analyst on board for an initial 6-month contract.

    What you'll do

    • Work directly for the Head of Programme Management and the Chief Information Officer, responsible for the delivery of all IT PMO functions and support to all projects run from the London office and collaborative projects with the EU office.
    • The PMO team are responsible for planning and execution of strategic initiatives impacting business outcomes and operating model/s, with responsibility for supporting quality delivery within agreed budget, resources and time frame, issue resolution and risk management
    • You will be responsible for the undertaking of business analysis, collaborate with leads to understand business problems/needs, and identify solutions through leverage of existing capabilities or new capabilities/features that deliver value is aligned with business objectives and the overall program strategy.
    • Define, manage and enforce project management standards across the team.
    • Play a key role in moving from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies, working with Agile Delivery Managers.
    • Adapt, create and define processes to ensure that practices are strong enough to conform to group standards, whilst ensuring that they allow an agile delivery methodology.
    • Meticulous, with a focus on the detail, and being decisive and performance oriented

    Requirements

    • Highly experienced in management across Programme and Portfolio management in IT
    • Ability to handle multiple and often competing tasks under tight deadline, and with some level of ambiguity
    • End to End Agile experience in large scale technology delivery in financial institutions, capital markets or trading.
    • Experience in leading Programme and Portfolio teams within financial services
    • Strong stakeholder management, including C-Suite
    • Experience in finance (budgeting, forecasts, etc) is highly desirable
