Evedale Care Home Under New Management

Evedale Care Home is looking to recruit a Cook with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our team.

Everdale Care Home is located in the Stoke/Binley area of Coventry with close proximity to several bus routes. We are a 64 bedded Nursing Home offering Nursing Care to adults with Nursing needs.

Requirements of Chef

Food Hygiene Regulations.
Operation of kitchen equipment.
COSHH / Health and Safety.
Previous experience of working in a care setting would be preferable although not essential.

Responsibilities of Chef

Deliver a varied menu of nutritious, wellbalanced, attractive meals that meet Service User's individual needs.
Supervises kitchen team in the safe handling and storage of food, use of equipment, COSHH and the use of cleaning materials, ensuring all regulations are adhered to.
Ensures temperature testing of foods and storage areas are carried out as required and records are maintained.
Carry out stock takes and checking orders of catering deliveries
Implements and maintains an effective cleaning schedule whilst in charge of the kitchen.
