Reed Accountancy & Finance is delighted to have partnered exclusively with an Academy Trust in the Southend-on-Sea area who are searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their friendly office team.

In this fast-paced and ever-changing role, you will be an integral member of the finance team and will play a crucial role in the leadership of financial services and finance partnering across the Trust.

Location:
Borough of Southend-on-Sea

Salary:
£32,000-£38,000 per annum

Hours: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday

Your role will include:

Supporting key partners to provide critical financial analysis and reporting.
Financial planning for key business areas including budgeting and forecasting.
Providing proactive financial advice and expertise whilst building relationships with stakeholders.
Supervising a team of 3 Finance Officers.
Continuously improving financial processes and procedures.
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and consequently monitoring income and expenditure for multiple locations.
Updating and maintaining forecasted budget plans.
Preparing VAT returns with supporting documentation.
Completing balance sheet reconciliations for multiple sites.
Preparing monthly schedules of accruals for the preparation of management accounts and year end schedules.
Deputising for the Finance Manager where required.
