Reed are exclusively working with a local family-run firm who are known for the quality care they deliver to their clients.

The firm specialises in Criminal Defence and Family/Children Law, and are looking for a Family Solicitor to join their team and head up the Family department.

You would have responsibility for running the team whilst also managing your own caseload of work with a focus on Care and Child Protection cases.

Managing your own caseload in family law matters with a particular focus on Care and Child Protection cases.
Overseeing the running of the Family team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to clients.
Maintaining high standards in accordance with the Legal Aid Agency Family Contract and Specialist Quality Mark requirements.

Previous experience working in Family Law team, candidate who have previously managed a team or who are looking to step up into the role will be considered.

Excellent working knowledge of Legal Aid and the CCMS System.
Developed advocacy skills.
