We are delighted to be recruiting for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an amazing team of veterinary professionals.

The Clinic:

We are a small, close-knit team of 5 dedicated veterinary professionals.

The Director is also a clinical vet who joins the rota and we have full back office support so you can focus on your own clinical and managerial responsibilities.

As a first opinion site, we see any small animal that comes through our door looking for care.

We have some of the most modern equipment in the North Yorkshire area with the facilities to perform Stem Cell Therapy, Oncology, Herbal Treatments and Orthopaedic work We're supported by our amazing location that has plenty of ward, consulting, and theatre space so very animal gets enough space to receive high quality treatment.

We see a great variety of cases; like all GP vet clinics, we mainly see small / companion animals but we have an ever growing case load of exotic and wildlife coming in too

The Job:

As the Head RVN, you will still be a clinical nurse involved in all aspects of care of our clients' pets.

From scrubbing in theatre, performing nurse consults, lab work and hospital ward visits, the Head Nurse oversees all areas of our practice.

You will be the clear leader amongst RVNs and VCAs and also help coach junior and Student veterinary nurses. Dealing with 1-2-1s, L&D and H&S, you are the go to nurse. We would like to encourage you to develop new policies and procedures and help expand our own services.

This is a full time role where you will join the Saturday rota, currently set at 1 in 4 mornings.

The Candidate:

We will need candidates to demonstrate their leadership / management experience in order to be successful.
