Project Manager - IT Services - Oxfordshire (hybrid working)

Up to £55,000 PA

Our client, a well-establish and reputable managed service provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

They provide a wealth of different technical services, predominately to government and defence clients.

Role overview:

Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management, you'll be working within a team of other highly skilled Project Managers delivering complex IT projects of varying demands.

No two days will be the same:
you'll be managing a busy workload with ever changingdemands.

Responsibilities:

Manage a variety of different projects in line with their Prince2 based procedures
Report project updates to PMO, customers, senior management and wider areas of the business when required
Take the lead on driving delivery of projects, on time and in budget
Ensure that documentation (PIDs, plans and registers) complies with ISO standards
Guide wider areas of the business when required
Lead workshops when required to ensure smooth delivery
Monitor tasks in the PPM tool and liaise with the Project Coordinator

Requirements:

Previous experience in leading/delivering on complex IT projects, ideally within the IT Services industry.
Demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques and processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver information to all levels
Hold a project management certification (Prince 2, PMP, Agile etc.)
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 2000, 27001 would be advantageous

WFH:
Initially required onsite full time then ability to WFH 2-3 days per week

Working hours:
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Travel:
Some travel to client sites may be required
