- HGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
- Current CPC
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- A good understanding of the EU Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
- Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but not essential
- Monday to Friday working

You will be based from East Kilbride covering Scotland and the North of England, so experience of driving in both rural and urban environments is therefore essential.
A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers predominantly accident damaged vehicles of all shapes, sizes and conditions on our salvage transporters and therefore the role can be physically demanding. We work on behalf of our insurance and automotive customers, to service agreements.
Using our handheld PDA technology, our HGV Drivers carry out internal and external checks on their trucks and equipment and report any defects, photograph any damage and carry out inspections of all collected and delivered vehicles.
They must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.
