Safety is the Atkins Decommissioning and Waste Services highest core value, we are dedicated to ensuring that our workforce and our working environments are established and maintained to the highest safety standards.


We are looking for someone to support the Health and Safety Manager in delivering and maintaining a safe working environment.

Our approach to safety is to encourage challenges and create a culture where safety is at the heart of everything we do and leaves nothing to chance.

We do this through establishing a strong Health & Safety (H&S) culture or psychologically safe environments where challenge is encouraged without a blame.


The successful Junior Safety Adviser will be provided with: full training, a range of Health & Safety tools to implement compliance and drive improvement.


Essential:

A desire to succeed and work hard towards Health & Safety Qualifications that include: (IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, Level 6 Diploma, IOSH Membership)


Desirable:


  • Prior sitebased construction experience preferred but Training can be provided
  • Clean, full driving licence or working towards
