- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with British Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in fire alarm systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Complete NICEIC testing and certification for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide electrical support for projects requiring SC/DV security clearance, adhering to strict security protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and colleagues to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality electrical solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including test results, inspection reports, and certification documents.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and address any queries or concerns professionally.
- Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 18th Edition).
- Extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems.
- NICEIC accreditation for electrical testing and certification.
- SC/DV security clearance (essential).
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, including BS 5839 and BS 7671.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
