Job Summary:

The Training and Compliance Coordinator will oversee the training lifecycle for all employees, consultants, and healthcare professionals.

They will be the main point of contact for training and accreditation inquiries and will report to the Head of People, collaborating with key senior managers, including the Chief Operating Officer.


The Coordinator will work closely with clinical and laboratory leads to enhance training compliance processes and maintain training logs in line with company ISO requirements.

Additionally, they will support the organisation and operation of EndoSign training clinics and provide exceptional customer service to support employees and healthcare professionals in their training activities.


Working Pattern and Location:

The role is a full-time position with a standard 37.5 hour working week. The role holder may be required to work flexibly.


The Training and Compliance Coordinator will be based at the Cyted's Head Office, 22 Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JD or Cyted UK Ltd's laboratory in Huntingdon.

The Training and Compliance Coordinator may need to visit other company sites when and if required.


What you will be doing:


  • Maintain and update the company's Learning Management System (LMS) for employees, consultants, and healthcare professionals.
  • Administer compliance training for all Cyted group company employees.
  • Manage the company's CPD programme in collaboration with employees and their line managers.
  • Ensure administration and maintenance of training for all ISO standards the business holds.
  • Onboard and issue consultancy agreements for Consultant Pathologists and Nurses.
  • Administer the training and accreditation requirements for Consultant Pathologists and Nurses, including the annual review process.
  • Development and administration of the training and accreditation programme for healthcare professionals including, but not limited to:
  • Liaise with trusts and organise clinic dates
  • Book trainers and arrange travel and accommodation for EndoSign training clinics.
  • Organise Honorary Contracts with trusts if necessary for EndoSign training clinics.
  • Assign relevant training courses, set up individual user accounts, and notify users of login details.
  • Monitor and ensure visibility of training status for all nurses.
  • Issue Healthcare Professionals with their training certificates and request feedback on the training.
  • Configure and manage online compliance training programs.
  • Monitor expiry dates for training and arranging refresher training
  • Assist sourcing and evaluating course providers and make recommendations on appropriate training packages and courses.
  • Assist drafting of SOPS and general training documentation for review.
  • Produce reports for the management team and auditors.

Person Specification:


  • You have an undergraduate degree or equivalent (Desirable)
  • You have experience administering and supporting training programmes (Desirable)
  • You have experience coordinating and booking external training courses (Desirable)
  • You can deliver high customer service in a fast paced environment (Essential)
  • You have worked under pressure in an accredited/regulated environment (Desirable)
  • You understand confidentiality and how to handle confidential documents and data (Essential)
  • You can create and handle complex documentation (Essential)
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability (Essential)
  • You have outstanding attention to detail (Essential)
