A leading specialist is currently seeking a

Accounts Assistant based in Harrogate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the growth and expansion of the business. The company prides themselves on providing exceptional levels of customer service as well as being a great company to work for.

Duties as the successful Accounts Assistant will be:

Accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and dealing with any queries
Assisting with accounts receivable functions, such as sales invoices and credit control
Ensuring accounts are up to date and accurate at all times
Managing a group inbox, ensuring timely replies to stakeholders
Supply chain & procurement management, including establishing new suppliers and developing existing relationships
Stock control, including reporting and reordering
Involves assisting a variety of stakeholders from within and outside of the organisation
Report to the general manager and assist the operations, maintenance, and the technical support team

Requirements:

Experience in a finance business support role would be advantageous
Background in accounts payable and receivable (preferred)
Knowledge of stock control functions (preferred)
Accuracy and time management is essential
You will have an eye for detail in all aspects

To excel in this role you will have excellent time management and organisational skills. The successful Accounts Assistant will receive a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum. You will also be entitled to 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. There are also great company rewards which has included annual gifts, such as; Ipads and Apple Watches
