    Veterinary Surgeon - Thirsk


    • Veterinary Surgeon role at an independent small animal practice in the picturesque market town of Thirsk
    • Premises have been designed to minimise stress and anxiety for patients and are well-equipped with up-to-date technology including X-ray, Dentistry, Ultrasound and an In-house laboratory
    • Our client is an independent Small Animal Veterinary Practice located in the picturesque market town of Thirsk, North Yorkshire. They are seeking a passionate and confident Small Animal Vet to join their growing team.

    Thirsk was recently recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide 2023 for its historical charm and captivating blend of Georgian and medieval architecture.

    Nestled in the Vale of York with the Dales and North York Moors on the horizon, the town is centred around a vibrant market square, and is renowned for its racecourse.

    As an independent practice, our client prioritises providing veterinary care with both professional expertise and a profound sense of empathy and compassion for clients and their cherished pets.

    They are committed to treating every animal under their care as if it were their own.

    Supported by a close-knit team of dedicated veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses, they offer unwavering support and guidance throughout every phase of a pet's life.

    The practice has been meticulously designed to minimise the anxiety and stress often associated with veterinary visits.

    It is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art technology, including X-ray, Dentistry, Ultrasound, In-house laboratory, and more, ensuring the highest quality of care.

    The successful candidate will need to exhibit confidence in their veterinary abilities and have a strong sense of teamwork.

    The Rota:

    • Full time role - Part time applications considered
    • Monday - Friday working week
    • 1:4 Saturday mornings (8.Competitive salary from £35,000 - £65,000 DOE
    • 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
    • Professional Development highly encouraged and fully funded
