Job Summary:
Kiwa UK is looking for Technical Inspector to join our Pest Consultancy within Kiwa Agri Food.

This role will include inspection and audit of a wide range of manufacturing, warehousing, and retail facilities both in the UK and overseas.

This role is a remote/field-based position however ideally we would be looking for this person to be based Nottingham/East Midlands due to location of customers.

About the role:
Your daily tasks will consist of the following components:

  • Inspection and audit, within the scope of industry recognized qualifications achieved
  • Produce a detailed, and accurate, photographic inspection report
  • Clients report delivery on time, and in line with Company Policy
  • Scheduling and arranging inspection work allocation provided
  • Business development in respect of products and services offered by the Company

Do you have what it takes?:

  • Legislation relevant to public health pest control
  • Storage and transport of pesticides
  • Biology, behaviour and control of rats and mice
  • Control of other vertebrate pests including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats
  • Public health insect pest biology and control including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, biting insects, stored product insects
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Pesticide formulations and active ingredients
  • Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas

Qualifications:

  • Practical pest control experience in a wide range of facilities
  • RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management
  • BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management
