Description

An international bank with a growing finance team in London currently urgently require a financial accountant on an initial fixed term contract duration - 6 months.


The main purpose of this role is the lead the Bank's Financial Reporting and Statutory accounting activities including VAT and Corporation Tax management.


Please note:
There is an opportunity for the contract to be extended/ permanent offer post 6 month FTC.


Duties to include:

  • Leading and managing a small team including workflow and monthly reviews.
  • Complete financial reporting activities for the bank
  • Month-End Closing, half year /full year reporting packs.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax.

Specification:

A qualified accountant with 4 years PQE.

  • Strong understanding IFRS
  • Banking / FS accounting experience.
