    We are currently seeking a Senior Admissions Coordinator to provide outstanding customer service and deliver on our admissions recruitment strategy.

    The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the entire applicant's journey, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations across the entire applications process, enquiry handling, leads nurturing and conversion of the right candidates, course fees collection, the coordination and liaison with international students regarding the CAS application process, prior to UKVI sponsorship. The post holder will be providing a meaningful and inclusive applicant journey, providing a consistent, best-in-class applicant experience, from first point of contact to enrolment.

    Enrolment and interview process

    • Deliver an effective, timely and proactive service throughout the admissions/student life cycle and ensure that we always provide a first-class service.
    • Coordinate and arrange interviews for potential students. Managing the interview process and internal team.
    • Review and monitor the progress of applications/offers against agreed enrolment targets, ensuring achievement of agreed metrics for all courses.
    • Support Admissions Manager with UKVI CAS student applications, coordinating and ensuring due diligence is carried out on all applications and clear reporting criteria followed.
    • Deputise for the Admissions Manager in their absence, and act as the central point of contact when needed.
    • Developing and nurturing working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively and ensure agreed service standards are met.
    • Undertake additional project work as required by the Head of Admissions to help achieve the team objectives of student recruitment and service delivery.
    • Represent LFA at recruitment events (e.g., open houses & recruitment fairs).
    • Provide support and advice on welfare or financial matters to applicants.
    • Work with the Admissions Manager to capture data for regulation purposes, assist with insights and data reporting, ensuring compliance regulatory dates are met.

    Student enquiries and applications

    • Assist in monitoring and collection of tuition fee payments to ensure all course fees are received prior to the commencement of each course and in line with the LFA Terms and Conditions, ensuring students remain compliant with their Payment Plans. Process refund requests for short course cancellations in line with LFA Terms and Conditions
    • Work with the Admissions Manager, to ensure the admissions process manuals are up to date and ensure consistent working practices across the wider team.
    • Checking and reviewing submitted application material, ensure eligibility is met, liaising with the validating university.
    • Review Admissions processes on an ongoing basis and make appropriate improvements to ensure effective use of resources.

    Admissions recordkeeping support

    • Follow set processes, ensure the LFA admissions system/database is accurate, complete and up-to -date, and relevant stakeholders are kept informed of course performance.
    • Keep abreast of admissions procedures including procedures in assessment of academic and English language qualifications, information processing, UKCISA guidance, UKVI regulations for issuing CAS, UCAS regulations, Data Protection and freedom of information so decisions are issued correctly.
    • Compliance:Monitor the rate of CAS issuing and work with Admissions Manager and Admissions Coordinator to coordinate CAS issuing in a prompt manner, to maintain sector leading reputation.
    • Keep up to date with national and international issues relating to admissions, including changes to qualifications and how this will affect admissions, attending relevant conferences as required.

    General enquiries and customer service (online and offline)

    • Provide excellent customer service to relevant stakeholders.
    • Respond to enquiries from prospective students, parents and other stakeholders via email, phone or in-person meetings.
    • Review and verify all application materials, ensuring all required supporting documents are submitted.
    • Participating in ongoing professional development and staying abreast of trends and best practices in admissions and enrolment management.
    • Collaborate and liaise with other departments to facilitate a seamless transition for admitted students.

    Essential Skills

    • Demonstrable experience within admissions in education or an equivalent area.
    • Knowledge of UKVI and compliance would be beneficial.
    • Excellent administration and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to create a rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders especially prospective students, and their parents.
    • Ability to and plan workload effectively for busy periods.
    • Team player who is able to follow set processes and procedures, escalating issues quickly.
    • Experience in reviewing and improving processes and systems.
    • Familiar with the relevant regulatory framework and requirements.
    • Can do attitude and prepared to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty.
    • MS Office for Mac, including Word and Excel.

    Role Details

    Salary: £32k - £35k per annum

    Hours of Work: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

    Based: On site at 52A Walham Grove, London SW6 1QR; hybrid work options are available
