    Job Title: Technical Design Administrator

    Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire

    Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum

    I am currently recruiting for an innovative engineering company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. To contribute to the company's ongoing success, we are looking for a Technical Design Administrator to join the team.

    Position Overview:

    As a Technical Design Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business by managing administrative tasks and facilitating communication among team members a key stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with talented professionals in the field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain organised and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and project plans.
    • Act as a central point of contact for the technical design team, relaying messages, scheduling meetings, and ensuring efficient communication flow.
    • Assist in coordinating resources for design projects, including equipment and external vendors.
    • Enter project data into relevant systems or databases and generate reports as required.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
    • Provide general administrative support to the technical design team, such as organizing travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and ordering office supplies.
    • Qualifications:
    • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, or Design) preferred.
    • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a technical or design-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with design software or willingness to learn is a plus.
