The post holder is responsible for ensuring practice CQC targets are met and that policies are up to date.They will lead our CQC team, in particular liaising with the leads in various areas including infection control, learning disabilities and autism.
The role involves ensuring that the staff team are fulfilling their roles and requirements and are keeping up to date with training.
The post holder will chair monthly CQC meetings and work closely with the clinical governance lead to ensure clinical documentation/work flow/audits and appropriate audits and searches are all being carried out at appropriate regular intervals.
They will hold responsibility for ensuring that policies are both up to date and being applied properly throughout the practice, including good record keeping and monitoring of safety issues in the practice e.g.
fridge temperature checks, fire safety checks, cleanliness logs, statutory training, accident book, SEA records, practice risk register, emergency bag checks, minor ops/drugs.
The compliance lead will work closely with the CQC registered manager, reporting back monthly on the above.They will need to be up to date with training to ensure CQC compliance, as well as providing training for the staff team on issues related to CQC.
Part of this role is ensuring that the evidence is at hand to evidence our compliance in all areas, primarily by ensuring the risk register is up to date, minutes are uploaded to clarity and HR records are completeJob Responsibilities:
Chair monthly CQC meeting and upload onto clarity Report back to registered manager at CQC meeting monthly Work with members of the CQC team to ensure CQC targets are met To ensure practice policies and procedures updated and stored in an easily accessible way.
Oversee infection control audit and requirements with ic nurse Keep records and monitor safety issues within the practice.Eg fridge temp, fire safety checks, cleanliness logs, statutory training, accident book, SEA records, risk register, emergency bag, minor ops/drugs To manage the significant events log on an ongoing basis.
Work with clinical governanceleadto ensure clinical documentation /workflow is up to date Ensure posters are up to date and relevant Ensure staff noticeboards is up to date Attend regular training to ensure CQCcompliance Ensure appraisals are completed annually for all staff members Ensure all meetings are minuted and uploaded including Provide regular feed back to the partnership and management teamMore jobs from The Mission Practice
