    Job Description:

    Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dynamic and passionate Supply Teachers to join our team in Tameside. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools, including those in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Hyde, and Stalybridge. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to gain valuable experience in different school settings while making a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups.
    • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
    • Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Collaborating with school staff to ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers.
    • Providing constructive feedback to support students' academic and personal development.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    • Previous experience working as a Teacher in a secondary school setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
    • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
    • Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
