    Field Service Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – West Midlands / Staffordshire – Salary: £32,531 + door to door + on-call + overtime = £40k - £50k +++ Company Van + Tools + Health Cash Plan + Workwear + Training.

    As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned breakdown repair service to the customer based throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands including Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Birmingham and local surrounding region and will be part of a weekly rotating shift pattern consisting of 8am – 5pm and 11am – 8pm as well as an on-call rota consisting of 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend in every 4.

    As a Field Service Engineer, you will be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and have experience of working on the service, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and have a basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12- & 24-volt electrics.

    Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, access platforms, Telehandlers or similar beneficial, though not essential.
