Hugely successful, service provider business based in York currently require a Finance Business Partner join their team.Working in a well -established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involved in a variety of duties.
This role is ideal for a commercially aware individual.Looking to provide accounting support, accurate and timely information to all stakeholders and to contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be a integral member of the team responsible for managing reporting processes whilst also partnering with the business to provide insights and support.
- Work in partnership with operational teams to understand business drivers and contribute to operational strategy, including the organic and acquisition growth plans
- Provide assistance to month end processes
- Provide insight and context to each branch/depots on performance
- Define, implement and maintain KPI reporting, working with the BI Team
- Involvement in systems improvement to ensure that Finance objectives are met
- Carry out regular FP&A / forecasting exercises and challenge outputs based on bottom up methodology
- Preparation of annual budget following a structured approach and timetable including presentation of this budget to stakeholders
- Analysis of underlying business performance
- Provide technical and other support for mergers and acquisitions and integration activities and other projects as needed.
- Understand the businesses products/service lines and their profitability.
- Provide early warnings of issues along with solutions based on analytical findings
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA studier with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
