Construction Project Manager
Are you an experienced construction manager with site and project management experience looking for a career defining role with a firm you can grow with?
Have you worked on residential new build and refurbishment/modification projects in London and the South?
Company Profile
Our client is a dynamic property investment and development business operating across the Southern Home Counties.

They have an internal team made up of Architects, Surveyors and Contractors in order to have control over the whole development process.

Theirprojects range from multi-unit new builds to basic refurbs and are chosen based on a structured investment strategy.


Duties:


Office/Remote/Home based:

  • Creating budgets for construction projects
  • Creating project programs for construction projects
  • Creating risk assessments and highlevel overview of site health and safety
  • Providing regular program/budget updates to Director

Site based:

  • Work with the site manager to create weekly tasks/deliverables and plan/coordinate schedules of works against the program.
  • Assisting in the scheduling and ordering of materials
  • Assist in the hiring/management of workforce
  • Payroll / timesheet management reporting at the end of each week to the director.
  • Inspecting work on site is done per drawings and coordinating with building control
  • Ability to make onsite design decisions based on company design/construction guides

Person Profile:

  • Several years sitebased construction experience, monitoring health & safety, quality, ordering materials etc.
  • Experience managing site teams in role of Senior Site Manager / Project Manager
  • Experience creating budgets/programs and monitoring across projects
  • Experience managing residential new build and refurbishment projects
  • Skilled problem solver and positive attitude
  • Team focused and experience driving high performance site teams
  • Ability to build trust, relationships and manage expectations
  • Health & safety trained, sitebased certificates desirable (CSCS, SMSTS)
  • Construction based qualifications, CIOB, Degree, BTEC highly desired
  • Full UK Driving licence essential

Salary and Package:
Salary Guide £60-65,000
Working hours - when onsite/travelling between sites 7.30 AM to 4 PM
Fully remote role when not on site
Approx 2 days work from home based and 3 days visiting/inspecting onsite projects
