Refunds Co-ordinator / £14.50-£16 per hour / Hybrid (4 days from home per week) / Temporary (min. 3 months) / Full-Time

Are you looking for a unique and exciting opportunity where you can work 4 days at home and 1 day in a Coventry-based Office?


Macildowie are exclusively partnered with this established organisation who are looking to add a Full-time Refunds Co-ordinator, where you will be responsible for organising, motivating and assisting the Refund Officers who are responsiblefor the refunds process (with training to be provided). You must be prepared to get stuck-in with the refund process yourself when required. This opportunity has the potential for the contract to be extended, or for you to become
Permanent if you are a success in the role. You will get the chance to gain experience in a key industry which can open up many opportunities for you in the future.


Responsibilities

  • Drive performance within the Refunds Team
  • Set the team on the right track by assisting them with queries, and report back to management as to the progress of the team
  • Monitor the ticketing system where customer enquiries/refund requests are shown
  • Pick up the enquiry and import into Microsoft Excel; which is used to track the progress of refunds and where customer details can be found
  • Organise data in folders to ensure the process is smooth and all relevant data is kept for yourself and your team
  • Investigate to find the original payment source (e.g. bank)
  • Look for and identify key information in the banking systems
  • See if the customer is eligible for refund by reading through the refund policies

Requirements:

Evidence of your leadership/managerial skills from your previous roles:


  • Administration or Customer Service experience is a huge advantage:
  • Experience in Treasury, international banking or IBANS will give you an advantage
  • Great attention to detail, resilience. and exceptional organisational skills
  • At least basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • A conscientious individual and tenacious approach to work
  • Confident and helpful nature
  • Ability and/or experience to interpret policies
