    Job Description

    Reporting to Business Development Director, the Software Sales Representative will be responsible for driving the sales of GDi proprietary software products and have direct interaction with clients providing information about the product.

    Key Responsibilities and Competencies:

    • Duty to sell technology software products and related services/products.
    • Recognise the needs of the customer and provide detailed information to the customer about the technical specifications of the product.
    • Provide detailed quotations based on client's preferences and budget, ensuring transparency and clarity.
    • Contact assigned customers and promote GDi's product, secure new business and sustain business relationships with existing clients.
    • Responsible to actively contribute to sales forecasts and keep sales pipeline updated for assigned customer accounts.
    • Provide technical support and development internally to other business departments.
    • Working closely with the software developers to optimize product features by consolidating customer needs/suggestions.
    • Work closely with the Account Manager and provide training and customisation to the product consultations.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years in a sales or software support position.
    • Experience of understanding the requirements of users with the ability to build these into good quality narratives.
    • Strong stakeholder management, with ability to build relationships at all levels.
    • Experience and contacts within Asset Heavy Industries.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
