Overview:


The Finance Business Partner will support our international sales and marketing functions, working closely with the senior leaders of these functions.

Full responsibility for timely and accurate preparation of financial and management information relating to actual performance, in addition to preparing forecasts & budgets.

Assisting with the full ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet, providing management information & commercial finance support to aid business decisions, drive growth, and profitability.

This role is office based in Coventry, and reports to the Head of Finance. The role currently has leadership responsibility of one supporting the management of the Sales Ledger and credit control functions.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Work with Sales teams to identify risks & opportunities for business growth.
  • Ownership of forecasting & budgeting Sales and Marketing organisations
  • Ownership of accurately & timely reporting actuals to ensure budgets are understood and met.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly Volume, Mix and Price calculation reporting into monthly analysis meetings.
  • Work with key stakeholders to proactively drive improved margin and profitability.
  • Responsible for ensuring all customer accounts are kept uptodate and operated efficiently.
  • Analysis of proposed projects to ensure we achieve best margin possible.
  • Support "Best in Class" projects for Sales CRM and intelligence tools
  • Work with Head of Finance to develop Internal controls and selfaudit framework for Order to Cash processes.

Skills:


  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • 3 years' experience in a commercially based role(desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt in line with evolving business needs.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels and to nonFinance stakeholders
