Exciting opportunity working for a multi site SME based in the North West (main site Manchester area).

Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Finance Director with broad business experience - an experienced finance leader looking to get involved in an exciting chapter of this company as they gothrough a private equity deal set to sell within the next 2 years.

You will be responsible for:

Assisting the MD with making all parts of the business profitable and accountable. Preparing business for sale 24/2
Sitting on the senior management team (must have a commercial mind set)
Overall management of finance function (oversee Finance Manager)
Liaising with internal stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure the finance function has strong and robust relationships across the business.
Liaising and building strong relationship with Private Equity House
Financial analysis to highlight any areas of the business that need improvement and overseeing implementation of improvements.
Regular presentation of the group's financial position to the senior management team/Private equity house
Control financial operations ensuring continual improvement of the internal financial controls and processes
Financial forecasting / modelling
Cash management

Remuneration package:

Competitive salary up to 100k plus bonus scheme of up to 100% of base salary - equity on completion of sale and LTIP (to be discuss on interview stage), Company car allowance and Private Medical.

It is essential you have been through some form of business sale, preparing for sale, involvement with private Equity.

The role is hybrid allowing 2/3 days from home howvever you will be required in the office atleast 2 days a week if not more so you must be located within the North West.

This is not a fully remote role.
