    Farm Veterinary Surgeon
    Cliffe Vets, Lewes

    We are a proactive, progressive mixed practice with a stimulating blend of dairy, beef, sheep and smallholder work (plus sporadic pig, poultry, camelid and gamebird work).

    We also offer Flock Health Club, Beef Suckler Package, Beef AI service, DairyCo Mastitis control plan, bull and ram fertility testing, TotalVet dairy software, and Advanced Sheep Breeding services performing laparoscopic AI and Embryo Transfer.

    The successful candidate will work 8-hour shifts across 5 days a week, with on-call nights and weekends equally shared. At present this is 1 in 7.

    About the Team and Culture

    We have 8 farm veterinary surgeons, who are ably supported by 3 ATTs, 3 administration staff and a dispensary team. We encourage Certificates and at present have a Cert CHP, a CertAVP, and a further CertAVP in progress. If you are an experienced vet with enthusiasm for farm work and the ability to work independently, we would love to hear from you
