    Civil Engineer (Mid / Senior) - Edinburgh Hybrid Lorien are currently working with a multi-award-winning and dedicated Engineering consultancy enjoying ongoing success and expansions across their UK bases.

    On the back of a hike in business demand and a consistent stream of repeat business from very happy clients, they are now looking to grow their Engineering function and bring on new talent in the shapes of Senior and Mid-level Civil Engineers.

    You'll join a supportive and passionate team of like-minded characters (who will invest in your upskilling), collaborate with them on exciting new work pipelines, and benefit from a steady workflow of new challenges to tackle along the way.

    Outline of the role:

    Work with a wider team of engineering specialists to run and tackle projects for key (and often repeat) clients covering drainage, earthworks, roads and moreCrafting civil engineering design solutions and working closely with members from other engineering disciplines to coordinate the successful delivery of each project Enjoy a varied pipeline ready to go from day one, and see your efforts drive the delivery of a number of exciting ventures while ensuring high qualityPlay a key role in communications with clients, ensuring they are kept up to date and feel heardManage and review documents and drawings to ensure quality and compliance as well as meet client requirements/expectationsThe skills/knowledge you'll bring:Proven background in Civil Engineering design Skills across Drainage strategy schemes and relevant tooling such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage and/or similarGrasp of relevant Scottish regulations and awareness (and ideally communications with) environmental/water bodiesWillingness to learn and work towards chartership (or other qualifications/etc.
