Engineering Technician

Preston/Wigan/Warrington

£33,600 + vehicle + Training

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Generator/ Marine Diesel Engineers or similar in the Durham area who would like to work in a regional capacity with some travel around the UK, serving the landfill gas industry.

Field Service Package includes:

- on call Payments

5% Pension.
Further training provided for OEM and Control Systems.
Role Profile
18th edition/ Gas safe training

Operation and Maintenance of Equipment such as Generating Sets and Processing Plants.

Day to Day operations of assigned sites.
Dealing with plant equipment and generators.
Keeping up to date with technical and regulatory requirements.
Provide Emergency call out cover.
UK wide travel, when necessary.

Engineer Profile

We require experience within an O&M Engineering Environment within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
Ideally you will have experience or formal qualifications within an Engineering field.
Ideally based in the Durham Area and willing to travel.
Must be able to work alone.
Extensive knowledge and experience of Electrical, Heat and Mechanical maintenance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
