Our client has asked us to recruit an experienced, driven and authentic accountancy professional to join the senior management team of this Top 20 accountancy practice at its Oxford office. The job title advertised,
Senior Accounts Manager - Route to Partner, is intended to attract interest from highly experienced individuals from a range of practice backgrounds.

As Senior Accounts Manager - Route to Partner, your responsibilities will include:

Oversee the delivery of accounts assignments across your portfolio
Lead some of the firm's largest and most complex assignments and review completed files
Business development with clients and building up longlasting client relationships
Responsibility for monitoring chargeability and profitability across your portfolio
Contribute to valuations, business modelling, EMI, bank presentations and report writing
Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the office's training and development
ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with at least six years' post qualified experience within a practice environment
Proven experience of managing a portfolio of OMB/SME clients, developing new business, managing client relationships and dealing with complex client queries
Previous leadership experience at management level
Have excellent listening and communication skills
Passion for the accountancy industry and the desire to be at the forefront of the everchanging environment
Be driven to succeed and willing to take initiative
