Our client currently looking for a Managing Director to join their busy team


As the Company is pursuing its fast growth journey, the Board recognises the importance to define and implement a profitable growth strategy by appointing a Managing Director.


You will be responsible for the performance of the company, leading the strategic direction and ensuring the company vision, mission and core values are maintained throughout everyday business practices.

The Managing Director will provide strategic leadershipfor our growing software company to create and implement commercial plans.


Salary:
£70,000-£80,000 per annum


Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (30-minute lunch break)


Contract Type:
Full Time, Permanent


About the Managing Director Role:


This role will have a strong focus on growth and sales delivery and will be client facing presenting the face of the company.

Holding full P&L responsibility you will focus on opportunities for improvement and ways to increase profitability. This broad rolewill be strategic, commercial, and operational focused.

The role will suit someone who has the capabilities to identify business opportunities for growth and drive the required change to deliver financial results.

A business leader within SaaS or SoftwareDevelopment sales, with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth, ideally with full P&L responsibility of over £5m per annum, will be suited for this role.


This role requires an individual who is commercially astute, able to accelerate growth, drive and encourage the team and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the aspirations and development of the company.


Managing Director Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree required in the area of Software Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Life Sciences.
  • 5+ years Senior Leadership experience within SaaS or Software Development Sales.
  • Previous sales experience in Software sales or a related field is essential for this role which has a main focus on sales delivery.

About the Company:


Our client develops and commercialises user-friendly Laboratory Information Management Software (LIMS), and our current product, LabHQ, is used to store, process, report and analyse Quality Control test data in a regulatory compliant manner.

LabHQ aims toreduce complexity and confusion and turn LIMS into a tool that's simple, quick, and easy to use.
