Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and compassionate individual to join our friendly and hardworking Bereavement Technical Team.
You will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of our bereavement technical support service covering cremation, burials and commemorative memorials for the bereaved community.
You will be responsible for collaboratively providing comprehensive and effective technical support that complies with all statutory requirements and meets the immediate and longer-term vision of the service.
You will be primarily rostered to work at the Bereavement Care Offices in both North Cemetery, Strouden Avenue, Bournemouth BH8 9HX and Poole Crematorium, Gravel Hill, Poole, BH17 9BQ.
You will be educated to GCSE level with experience of delivering technical administrative support in a busy, front-facing and highly pressurised office environment as part of a team.
A resilient individual, you will have the ability to work methodically with attention to detail maintaining concentration over prolonged periods and able to manage sensitive information securely.
You will have the ability to take an organised approach to your own workload and possess a good working knowledge of IT systems such as Windows 10 and Microsoft 365.
You will be committed to achieving and maintaining standards of excellence ensuring a customer focused approach, and willing to advocate service changes leading to improvements and be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which is to be applicable for all employees.

We are in the process of establishing a timescale for implementation and colleagues joining us will be included in these changes.
