In this dynamic role within our Health & Benefits Sales & Client Management team, you will work alongside some of the industry's leading experts while you use your skills and experience to advise a diverse portfolio of clients.
You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your creativity as well as your ability to analyse data, draw conclusions, find solutions, and present results.
You will be empowered to identify additional revenue opportunities within your existing clients; undertake new business pursuits and represent WTW to prospective clients, insurers, and partners.
The role encompasses management of an existing portfolio of Health & Benefits clients and business development.Core objectives are comprised of consultancy and broking advice within an existing client portfolio and securing the net new business target allocated to the jobholder.
*This role is managing a client portfolio in South of England, and you will undertake travel; including visiting client sites and WTW offices is essentialIdentify, attract, and pursue new business to WTW Health & Benefits; using initiative and sales skills to bring the full value of WTW to clients
Project manage and oversee the successful renewal process for a portfolio of clients
Management of own client and prospect portfolio in line with the standards of business practice defined by Willis Towers Watson
Contribute to the overall business strategy through conceptual ideas for consideration by the team manager and Sales & Client Management Director
Mentoring of other colleagues will be required with a view to supporting the overall strategy for training and development across the wider team
To attend client and prospect meetings as arranged by the Tele-Business team
To assess the best products and service options in relation to the requirements of each client. To ensure best advice is given at every stage of the sales/renewal process and adherence to regulatory requirements is observed
Required to work closely with the support team(s), assisting in the preparation of quotations and client reports; ensuring the completed review document accurately reflects the requirements of the client and covers all options available for discussion
Networking with colleagues from the wider WTW organisation and business partners to identify new client opportunities
Good insurer relationships are essential to management of all existing and prospective clients
Full compliance with the completion of data entry onto the CRM system; checking sales/performance figures on a monthly basis to ensure that they reflect the jobholder's performance in according with their target
The Requirements
Experience within the Health and Benefits market sector in a client facing, commercial role
In-depth knowledge of healthcare (Dental, Cash Plans, EAP etc) and/or Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness
Consultative sales professional who can meet sales targets set by the Sales Client & Management Director
Strong influencing and presentation skills with experience at presenting to senior client contacts
A good knowledge of relevant products, providers and funding options available in the marketplace
Attention to detail and ability to work at pace with competing deadlines
Ability to take new research, thought leadership or concepts to clients and explain their relevance
IT literacy and an ability to adopt with ease new processes and procedures
Understanding of the FCA regulations and their impact on the job role, including principles and rules relating to confidentiality, GDPR, TCF etc.
A professional and approachable manner with all internal and external clientsEnhanced abilities in numerical and verbal reasoning; ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent
Qualified to Cert CII standard, or willingness to attain IF7, GR1 & IF1 modules
A good influencer and negotiator whose skills can be encouraged in others.
Needs to be willing to
Undertake travel; including visiting client sites and WTW offices is essential
Overnight stays may be required from time to time
Entertain clients and insurers to establish and further develop key business relationships
If required, attend industry events as a representative of WTW whilst adhering to the professional and ethical codes of conduct of the organisation.
