This temporary vacancy has arisen due to the secondment of the current postholder and provides a fantastic opportunity to join a large and diverse Mental Health Trust on a journey of improvement and transformation.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce and organisational culture, building strategic, creative and forward thinking workforce solutions to address current workforce supply and retention challenges, supporting the wellbeing, development and experience of our valued staff.


As the Associate Director of Workforce Transformation you'll provide leadership for our development and transformation teams, leading our strategic response to the development of our organisation, whether that be our cultures, or looking at workforce redesign to enable improved implementation of new roles and different ways of working.


Working closely with the Associate Director of Operational HR, and Deputy Chief People Officer, yourrole is essential in ensuring we provide innovative, future-oriented people services that enhance both individual and organisational performance, whilst fostering a culture of continuous development, improvement and compassion.


The Associate Director of Workforce Transformation will have corporate responsibility for leading the OD and transformation function within HR, to ensure an innovative, future focused service is in place which enhances individual, and organisational performance, supporting the cultural development of the organisation.


The role will also be strategically aligned as Associate Director of HR for one or more of the Trust Care Groups and the associated links with its localities.


Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.


We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
