    Working in pricing team and providing strategic direction for products along with involvement in many initiatives; how to drive the growth using variety parameters such as acquisition, retention and commission etc.

    Scope

    · To be able to provide strategic initiatives and forecasting plans for long term business plans

    RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Making and drive recommendations to Head of Pricing on pricing strategies.
    • Managing pricing projects, such as Pricing Strategy update, pricing tool implementation, by involving stakeholders and manage resources cross-functionally.
    • Having an ability to do any analytic works such as deep-dive on Telecom trend and market force, analysis on any pricing related issue, price positioning, develop pricing related unique selling point in market to produce reports and present to senior management.
    • Being able to provide the tactical move to compete with competitors in market, understand how to implement conceptual pricing to execution in terms of offers, promotion and usage and Identify opportunities for growth in under served markets
    • Creating and maintaining pricing models and strategies to customer's needs through liaison with internal departments
    • Modelling pricing structure and profitability expectations of new product launches.
    • Identifying and resolve complex business issues in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue enhancement that are critical to meeting targets and KPIs.
    • Providing information regarding revenue factors and usage analytic for any campaign launched
    • Reviewing customer pricing to maximise sales and margin opportunities
    • Working cross-functionally with commercial finance, marketing, operations and product teams to execute pricing strategy
    • Ensuring maintenance and continuous improvement of pricing and forecasting models
    • Managing and prioritise pricing queries from all stakeholders involved in the sales cycle.

    KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KEY COMPETENCIES

    • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or analytical majors preferable but not essential
    • Previous experience managing Telecom marketing/pricing function preferred
    • Proficient in financial analytics, strategic frameworks, and competitive analysis
    • Ability to translate customer needs and insights into actionable Pricing strategies, portfolios vision, price plans and concepts.
    • Excellent problem solving, business communication, and organisational influence skills, and experience working in cross-functional teams
    • Strong analytical skills to understand market movements, pricing, and overall financial levers/analysis
    • Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and Procedures.
    • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyses information skilfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
