Brief job description:


Firebrand Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Analysis Apprentice with London Borough of Hounslow, a local authority based in Hounslow Greater London.


What you'll do:


You will undertake your apprenticeship as part of a team of business analysts, working alongside experts in designing services, user experiences and content.


You'll carry out research activities to investigate challenges, creating models of processes and data flows, gathering requirements and researching user needs.

You'll take part in co-design activities, working with the people who use, own and provide services with architects, analysts, researchers, designers and developers.


You will also help with testing prototypes and new products, documenting results and working with solution developers to fix and improve.

Your role at Hounslow:

You will be an active member of the Digital and IT team, with specific responsibilities within the user experience and service design area, which carries out research, analysis and redesign of service processes, optimising our investments in existing technology


Your contribution will have an impact upon the practical implementation of the #1Hounslow transformation programme and the delivery of the Digital Strategy.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)


Skills Required:


  • You'll bring enthusiasm for working in a Digital and IT team and can demonstrate good awareness of customer service.
  • You enjoy investigating and troubleshooting incidents and problems and you get satisfaction from understanding the causes and resolutions.
  • You can develop the skill to explain technical concepts and solutions to nontechnical users.

Personal qualities:


  • You have strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail and can keep documentation up to date accurately.
  • You have an awareness of cyber security.
  • You're eager to become proficient in a greater range of technology and like to stay up to date with new and emerging technologies.
