    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for our revamping and repowering projects on utility scale solar farms.

    As our Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our solar PV energy projects and specifically revamping, repowering and complex additional services offered to our Clients.

    The role requires a blend of project management expertise and technical knowledge in the solar energy and a passion for groundbreaking initiatives. You will ensure adherence to budget and schedule, and oversee all aspects of construction to the highest safety and quality standards. This position has come at an exciting time for our fast growing company.

We are among the largest operators in Europe with activities in 5 Countries and over 1.6GW under management. We are specialised in proposing and executing revamping and repowering projects to enhance the performance of the assets we operate.

    Main responsibilities

    Project planning and Execution:

    -Develop and execute project plans, for the whole project lifecycle, from proposal phase through to technical design, feasibility, permitting, installation, commissioning, and client handover.

    -Lead project teams to achieve milestones, manage resources effectively, and ensure on-time project delivery.

    -Manage all aspects of construction, including site preparation, civil works, electrical installation and commissioning.

    -Oversee a team of construction personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance.

    -Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental permits.

    -Manage project budget and track variances, implementing cost-saving measures as needed.

    -Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.

    -Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors, landowners, regulatory agencies, and the community.

    -Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    -Stay informed about advancements in solar technology and construction best practices.

    Requirements

    -Minimum 3 years Project Management experience

    -3+ years of experience managing large projects within the construction industry

    -Technical understanding of Solar PV systems, industry trends, and emerging innovations.

    -Strong commercial knowledge, being able to liaise with stakeholders and clients about commercial requirements as well as overlooking contracts and the financial implications they may cause

    -Being a proactive leader; we need someone to take the initiative and be the energy that is driving our projects

    -Proficient with MS Office and documentation control

    -Experience of working across multiple projects of varying size and complexity

    -Positive attitude towards quality management and attention to detail

    -Cordial and professional with good client facing skills

    -Experienced in the development and application of project processes/controls including programmes, reporting, risk & issues management, change control etc.

    -Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic company

    -Ability to work under pressure and deal with demanding situations

    The role requires you to travel sites as per the needs of the projects.

    Desirable skills:

    -Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or related field.

    -Health and safety qualified with accredited body such as SMSTS
