We are actively recruiting Electronic Assemblers to add to our very busy workshop.

In this role, you will work as part of the Production team and be involved in the development, assembly, test and servicing of electronic products and ancillary equipment.


Principle duties:

  • Manufacture, service, test and calibrate Metrol products and assemblies.
  • Assemble and test R&D tools and assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate build and maintenance records.
  • Maintain the electronic workshop, stocking of consumables and promote good housekeeping.
  • Encourage and actively participate in continual process improvement.
  • Attend training courses as requested by the company.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal safety in the workplace observing all company health and safety requirements.
Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Ideally qualified to NC level or equivalent in electronics.
  • Previous experience assembling electronic tools.
  • Able to interpret basic electronic schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Experience of soldering electronic components on to Printed Circuit Boards and cable assemblies.
  • Able to identify electronic components.


At interview the assembler will be required to show that they can interpret electronic schematics, pass a soldering test and demonstrate that they can identify electronic components.
