Menswear Designer - JERSEY

Location - Central London

Salary to £35k depending on experience+ Bens

A great new and exciting opportunity is available with an expanding supplier based in Central London for an experienced casual Menswear Designer to focus on casual Jersey product.

You will be initially working on one major high street accounts but slowly introduced to new business as and when they arise depending on your strengths.

The role is hybrid with 2/ 3 days in the office and 2/ 3 days at home - not specifically set and can change week to week but notified the week before

Menswear Designers Duties
Designing jersey product for key UK casual menswear retails ( young fashion focus )
Researching trends.
Working closely with Menswear Buyers
Presenting to Buyers

Must Haves to be shortlisted
Recent and previous experience designing Menswear Jersey product with either a UK high street supplier or retailer, the role is not entry level or Junior
Previous experience of relationship building with Buyers
Commercial design eye.
Must be used to a fast paced environment.
Good CAD and illustration skills
Applications must be UK based and be able to commute to London two to three times a week
