    Description

    Are you an excellent administrator used to working in a busy office environment? We are looking for an Assistant to provide administration and practical support to the Director of Development, serving as a valuable conduit between the Director and all RSC stakeholders, supporting relationships at the highest level through exceptional initiative, consideration and attention to detail.

    Reporting to the Director of Development, your duties and responsibilities will include (see the job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):

    Being the first point of contact for the Director of Development internally and with supporters and other external stakeholders.

    Managing the Director of Development's diary and coordinating all administrative arrangements relating to day-to-day activities.
    Managing UK and international travel arrangements, including hotel accommodation, including itinerary and document management.
    Administering the Development Committee, including organising meetings, papers, minutes and follow up.
    Demonstrable administration experience in a busy office environment and the ability to use MS Office packages.

    This is a full time, permanent position, which is based in London with travel to and from Stratford-upon-Avon for events and meetings, there is the opportunity to occasionally work remotely.

    Other travel may be required, including some overseas.

    The Development department operate between Monday to Friday working within 8am and 6pm, as this role involves supporting events there will be times when you will work outside of normal working hours and on weekends.

    Time off in lieu will be allocated according to our TOIL policy.
